Multimedia Forensics

This archive includes a Matlab implementation of the Sensor Pattern Noise analysis for digital videos using images as reference. The tool is described in M. Iuliani, M. Fontani, D. Shullani, A. A digital watermark is a signal permanently embedded into a multimedia content (audio, image, video, text) that can be detected or extracted later by means of computing operations to make an assertion about the data.

Multimedia Forensics

Multimedia Forensics includes a set of scientific techniques recently proposed for the analysis of multimedia signals (audio, videos, images) in order to recover probative evidences from them; in particular, such technologies aim to reveal the history of digital contents:

  • identifying the acquisition device that produced the data,

  • validating the integrity of the contents,

  • retrieving information from multimedia signals.


Secure Signal Processing

 Recent advances in the processing of digital contents have made available a large number of new services regarding the fruition of these contents. Some examples are the linking of massive volumes of personal data by service providers such as search engines, social networks, video galleries, or the outsourcing of services such as computing on sensitive data to remote servers.
