We are delighted to share that three members of our lab will give a seminar on “Multimedia content protection: from model-based to data-driven approaches” at the prestigious Computer Vision Center in Barcelona. Dr. Daniele Baracchi, Dr. Massimo Iuliani, and Dr. Dasara Shullani, along with Simone Magistri from the Global Optimization Laboratory and Prof. Andrew D. Bagdanov, will present the results of the research activity on multimedia content security carried out at the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Florence.
- Date: 2023-04-18
- Time: 11:00
- Location: CVC Conference Room (CVC, Barcelona)
During this seminar, the speakers will give a short introduction to the three main approaches to the forensic analysis of images and videos (container-, content-, and physics-based), and they will describe some recent works on these topics. Then, they will show some real-world forensic cases where these methods can be applied. Finally, they will talk about challenges and opportunities arising from the application of machine learning to Data Hiding and Multimedia Forensics, and they will conclude the seminar by delving into a recent publication that investigates applications of Continual Learning to social network media source identification.
