Francesca Nizzi received the master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and the Ph.D. from the University of Florence, Italy, earned in 2016 and 2019, respectively. Following her doctoral studies in Information Engineering (specializing in Network and Cyber-Security), she has worked as a Cybersecurity Solution Engineer and Senior Security Analyst in multinational companies. She returned to the University as administrative-technical staff and, since September 2024, has been serving as technical of the DINFO Department, specifically of the LESC laboratory.

During her Ph.D., she authored an article that received an overall score of 30 and was subsequently ranked Class A by ANVUR in the 2015-2019 VQR.
